My name is Michelle and this site was born of my two greatest passions: sewing and the amazing Japanese aesthetic. When I found that I couldn’t find a unique range of Japanese fabrics to meet my sewing needs, I decided to open an online boutique to bring unique Japanese style to the devoted crafters of Australia!

My husband often refers to my sewing room as the Time Machine, because once I cross that threshold to join my beloved machine and fabric stash I’m lost in my own universe and lose all sense of space and time. Can you relate? Then you’ve come to the right place!
